Youth Festival will celebrate homegrown talent

Chart-topping musicians bred in Ekurhuleni will grace the stage.

Germiston Lake Park will be lit tomorrow (Saturday) with over 10 000 young revellers expected to flock into the park for the musical festivities at the Ekurhuleni Youth Festival.

The festival’s big stage will make way for some well-known chart-topping musicians bred in Ekurhuleni such as Kwesta, Dj Mshega, Dj Shimza, The Muffins, Reason and Dj Sbu.

Other well-known musos set to grace the stage include Cassper Nyovest, M-Tee, Nathi (Nomvula) and Ricky Rick.

The City will provide busses at all Customer Care Centres, which will leave for Germiston Lake from 10am.

Entrance is free and cooler boxes are allowed, but bottles will not be allowed into the venue.
