The top four soccer teams that competed in the league received medals, with the top team gaining a cup.
Soccer teams competing in the Brakpan Local Football Association Stream B league held a prizegiving on May 10, with the top four teams receiving honours.
While four teams were recognised, only one gained a coveted trophy and the bragging rights that came with it.
Newcomers to the top four, Alliance FC, placed fourth, after starting out last season in the league in 11th place.
Brakpan Bush Bucks claimed third, and Leachville Shooters second.
Young Stars FC, coached by Fridah Tshongwe, have made waves by finishing top of the log in Stream B.
As winners, they will now face Tech United from Stream A in the mini-play-offs.
Thereafter, the champions of Brakpan will advance to the regional play-offs with an opportunity to earn promotion to the Regional League for the 2026/2027 season.
