Brakpan residents urged to attend SAPS crime-fighting meeting

Crime statistics, community concerns and possible solutions will be on the agenda when Brakpan SAPS hosts its monthly stakeholders meeting.

Police are calling on residents and organisations to join discussions at the Brakpan SAPS monthly stakeholders meeting aimed at improving safety across Brakpan.

The meeting will be held at 10:00 in the Rio Rooms at Carnival City on June 24.

Local police meet with different stakeholders once a month in an effort to find solutions to fighting crime together.

Businesses, civic organisations, law enforcement agencies, the security industry and others interested in finding solutions to fighting crime in Brakpan are encouraged to attend.

Crime statistics are discussed, and questions and suggestions about crime issues are welcome.
