The police have drawn up an image of a man who raped a woman in Carletonville recently.

The victim (26) was relaxing with her landlord and her husband, and another man on the night of October 11.

She later went to sleep, but was woken up early the next morning by someone entering her room and grabbing her arm.

She opened her eyes and saw an unknown naked man next to her.

He threatened that he would kill her if she made a noise and proceeded to rape her without a condom. The suspect spoke South Sotho and is in his late 30s. He is slender, has a dark complexion, and has a flat top hairstyle with dreadlocks. He also had a goatee at the time of the crime.

Anyone who sees him or has information on where he may be found can contact the investigating officer, Constable Aphiwe Mvubu, on 073 995 2980.
