Beauty pageant in Carletonville to honor late model and help charity
The mother of this young star wants to help others.
A beauty pageant is being held on Saturday to raise money for charity in the name of a young local model who tragically died in a car accident.
Tebello Masilo was a young model from Carletonville who passed away in November 2018. Tebello won the Miss IT Girl title in Romania, the position of 1st Princess in the Miss World pageant in Greece, and was also crowned Petite Miss RSA. She was also a star achiever at Laerskool Danie Theron.
“She had always wanted to help needy children and asked me to continue with this just before she passed away,” says Tebello’s mother Felicia.
Because of this, her mother started the Tebello Ya Rona Group to raise money for charity.
As part of their actions, a Majestic King and Queen Royal beauty pageant will be held at the Carletonville Sports Complex on December 14.
Registration starts at 08:30 and the pageant will start at 10:00.
Models from seven years old will be able to enter and spectators can watch free of charge.
Anyone who needs more information can contact Felicia on 083 942 5154.
