KES U16 team runs riot with 50-8 victory over Lions Invitational

Dominant display of pace and power secures emphatic win on final day of St John’s Easter Rugby Festival.

KES U16 closed their St John’s Easter Rugby Festival campaign in dominant fashion, delivering a clinical 50–8 victory over the Golden Lions Invitational XV on the tournament’s final day.

From the first whistle, KES asserted control, showcasing superior structure, speed, and skill.

Their forward pack laid a solid foundation, winning collisions and dominating set pieces, while the backs capitalised with precision running and sharp handling.

Tries came in rapid succession, with KES breaching the Lions’ defensive line repeatedly.

By halftime, they had already established a commanding lead.

The Lions Invitational side managed to put points on the board, but were largely on the back foot throughout the encounter.
