The weather, which had been somewhat unpredictable earlier, cleared by midday, and as the final rugby match concluded beneath a glowing autumn sky, the crowd was buzzing with excitement, soaking up the last rays of sunshine.

In hockey, Helpmekaar’s team gave it their all in a match against Glenwood College. Despite a strong showing, they were ultimately defeated 5–2. The George-based team exhibited an impressive level of precision, while Helpmekaar demonstrated admirable resilience throughout. Even so, the sharper execution from Glenwood allowed them to come out on top.

But the real drama unfolded on the rugby field, with a series of high-energy games keeping the fans roaring with excitement. The teams were fierce, each eager to make their mark on the competition.
