Renaissance celebrates 25th anniversary

Twenty-five years since Renaissance Retirement Village began.

IN celebration of Renaissance Retirement Village’s 25th Anniversary, all
residents enjoyed tea and cake whilst reminiscing about the good old days.

Mrs Ella Brown, their very first resident, fondly remembers July 4 1988; the
day of her “big” move to the beautiful retirement village. “There was no
electricity, no roads, at times no water, just the noisy generators, bull dozers
and mountains of dust and more dust,” laughed Ella.

Today, 25 years later, Renaissance, Glenvista is a landmark with its beautifully established gardens,
the delightful walks through rose bushes and, of course the duck ponds.
All the residents look forward to the next 25 years in good health and joy.
