Liefde en Vrede resident murdered

LIEFDE EN VREDE: A resident from Liefde en Vrede was shot and killed in a suspected burglary this morning, Monday November 11, at about 04:20.

According to D&D Tactical his dogs were also poisoned. Residential break-ins in Liefde en Vrede, Mulbarton and Glenvista have soared this year and questions are being raised by residents about how visible Mondeor SAPS are in these areas.

“This sector has one of the most prevalent rates of house burglaries in the province and Mondeor Police Station seemingly cannot control the situation. Without urgent intervention we foresee more residential break-ins happening with possible shooting of residents escalating,” said a member of Glenvista Community Policing Forum.
