Fallen soldiers honoured with parade

MOTHS and MOTHWA gather to remember those who died during the war times.

THE Pro Partia ceremony took place on Saturday, September 19, at the Herbert Park bowling club where friends and family together with the Memorable Order of Tin Hats (MOTH) and the Memorable Order of Tin Hats Women’s Auxiliary (MOTHWA) gathered to remember those who died during the war times.

The remembrance parade at the Herbert Park Moth Shell hole was well attended and included a ceremony for the deceased soldiers of yesteryear. This is an annual event which takes place in the South.

Attendees took a moment to remember those who gave their lives for this country and the heroes who paid the ultimate price for our freedom.
