Thirteen people were injured on Tuesday morning, February 9, after a taxi overturned on the M2 in Denver, South of Johannesburg.
When ER24 paramedics arrived on scene, they found the taxi lying on its side, in the fast lane of the highway. Further inspection revealed that 13 people had been inside the taxi at the time of the collision.
Paramedics assessed the patients and found that their injuries ranged from minor to moderate. The patients were treated for their injuries and thereafter transported to various hospitals for further treatment. The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
