Calling all garden lovers
Spring is here and what better way to celebrate than by visiting the Annual Spring Flower Show.
COME and visit Johannesburg South Garden Club’s Annual Spring Flower Show which will be taking place over the weekend of September 17 and 18, at The Precinct, Klipriviersberg Nature Reserve, Peggy Vera Road, Kibler Park.
Entries are invited from the public and viewing is open from 11:00 to 16:00 on the Saturday and from 09:00 to 16:00 on the Sunday. Anybody wanting more details can contact Rob Jones on 062 070 1932 or Mike Richardson on 081 829 0526.
The next garden club meeting will take place at 10:00 on Tuesday, September 27, with guest speaker Sally Mulligan chatting about vegetables. This meeting is also being billed as “bring a friend” day. All members are invited to bring a friend(s) along to the meeting in the hope they enjoy their time with the club members and join the club. On this day, no charge will be made to visitors who attend the meeting.
