Dalmondeor dominate South cricket selections

The educators and learners are extremely proud of their learners.

THE Dalmondeor Primary u.11 cricket team won their league on Thursday, November 3.

In the final they beat Laerskool Unika by eight wickets and so, topped the league for the first time since they joined the North West league in 2014. The u.11 team reached the finals in 2014, but lost against Fairland.

They reached the semi-finals in 2015, when they lost to Fairland again. This year’s team made history by playing 20 matches and winning 18 of them. They went unbeaten in the ten league games.

The pair of boys selected for Gauteng, Omar Carrim and Garrett Pahl, are the first from the school since 2007.

It’s thus been nine years since Dalmondeor produced two provincial cricketers. The educators and learners are extremely proud of Omar Carrim and Garrett Pahl.
