We asked residents whether they would adopt a pet or buy one from a pet shop or breeders. This could be as a gift for someone this festive season or just in general.

We asked residents whether they would adopt a pet or buy one from a pet shop or breeders. This could be as a gift for someone this festive season or just in general.

“I would go to the SPCA. There are many rescued and scared animals in captivity looking for homes. Pet shops are just businesses and breeders steal, torture and sell animals at high prices.”

“If I wanted to buy a puppy I’d definitely go to an animal rescue centre. There are just too many unwanted animals who need a loving family to adopt them.”
