Turn ‘n Tender supports St Mary’s
“Two local artists, Dalila Da Matos and Lois Fisher, who I would like to gratefully thank, have each donated one of their paintings which will be raffled until Father’s Day. Two winners will walk away with a painting apiece,” Dimitri said.
AT the recent launch of the newly revamped Turn ‘n Tender restaurant in the Comaro View Shopping Centre, Bassonia, co-owner Dimitri Papadakis welcomed invited guests and told them about a fund-raising venture to raise money for St Mary’s Children’s Home.
“Two local artists, Dalila Da Matos and Lois Fisher, who I would like to gratefully thank, have each donated one of their paintings which will be raffled until Father’s Day. Two winners will walk away with a painting apiece,” Dimitri said.
Guests, who included Sonja Harmse (director of St Mary’s), were entertained in the luxuriously decorated Mirror Room as well as in the adjoining room, which are both separated from the main section of the restaurant but are easily accessible through glass doors.

“Thank you to you all for joining us for this auspicious occasion. We are thrilled with the new look of the restaurant and look forward to welcoming you,” Dimitri added.
