WORLD Trauma Awareness Day was held at Netcare Mulbarton Hospital on October 17 with nursery school children attending from Cuddle Inn Nursery in Mulbarton.

The children enjoyed various demonstrations, including a snake demo from Ashton Menezes (Deathgrip Morelia), the fire brigade, SAPS (Mondeor), Netcare 911 paramedics and ambulances, a clown and face painting.

There was also Ampath/Lancet and Vermaak pathology laboratories exhibits, CPR demonstrations and food stalls.
