THE High School Career Expo sponsored by SABC Education was held at the Glen Shopping Centre recently.
This expo is South Africa’s only national public exhibition designed to provide primary school children and their parents with the best possible options for high schools.
It also affords high school learners and prospective tertiary students the opportunity to explore careers, universities and colleges.
There were a number of stalls informing learners about gap year prospects and study abroad programmes for learners that are still attending high school, as part of various exchange programmes.
With a huge variety of information, it was a one-stop event for learners to gather information to their hearts’ content without having to visit institutions individually or to struggle with online searches.
The exhibition also catered to those who were interested in pursuing short courses for personal growth or leisure.
