FOUR learners from Calvary Christian College recently received academic bursaries from Mineral-Loy at the graduation ceremony at the school.
Learners are selected based on criteria which reflects the ethos of the school, the integrity of the learners and their academic achievements.
The recipients of the Golden Laurel Wreath Awards for 2020 are:
• Phumzile Phakathi: Grade 12 next year.
• Ezra Mendel: Grade 12 next year.
• Wandile Tshabalalai: Grade 10 next year.
• Dakalo Nethavhani: Grade Nine next year.
“It has been a tremendous privilege being associated with Mineral-Loy and I trust our relationship may continue to benefit our learners, enabling them to make a significant contribution to our country in the years to come,” said Robertson, the school’s principal.
“Part of the commitment of our learners to their bursaries is that they will attend a week-long programme at Mineral-Loy during the course of next year.”
