Athletes from Mulbarton Remedial School recently experienced an action-packed day when they participated in the annual District Inter-School athletics meet.
The team cheered the athletes along, motivating them to finish all their events.
Every athlete showed great determination, commitment and sportsmanship.
Despite having limited time to practise, special mention is made to the following learners who excelled at the event: Princess Mtambo and Kitso Kgonare for long jump; Ronaldo Fernandes and Tony Moustakas for long distance; Boikanyo Moledi and Princess Mtambo for sprints; and Khumo Ziqubu for shot put.
Mulbarton Remedial is very proud of the effort and team spirit displayed by all their athletes.
