Marist Brothers Linmeyer Grade One teacher Tiziana Harris and aftercare teacher Lidia Crismann shared their experiences on how they survived Covid-19 at the primary school.

They had sessions from November 2 until November 10 where awareness of Covid-19 was made.

The teachers advised that the disease is real and learners need to always wear their masks and wash their hands to prevent the spread of the virus.

Harris and Crismann’s Covid-19 recovery stories gave hope to learners that they could also beat the virus, but cautioned that prevention is better than cure.

They also demonstrated what happens to a person’s body when contracting the virus.

Harris has comorbidities but wanted to assure learners that with good healthcare and prevention, even health-risk patients can beat the virus.

Grade One teacher Tiziana Harris, who is sitting down, is explaining her experience with Covid-19 while Lidia Crismann listens.
