Campaign to help Resthaven Ministries
Our buses are becoming relics, and spares are almost obsolete, extremely hard to find and rather expensive.
We have had two minibuses since 2007, and each time something goes wrong with them we had diligently tried to fix them as they are imperative to our cause.
The buses are used to do the school runs and our children are at different schools in Mondeor, Haddon and West Turffontein, and in this day and age, our children have to be protected so they are taken and fetched.
Buses are also used to take our people to functions, church and hospital when necessary, which, with the elderly, is important. So you can see that we would not be able to operate effectively without them.
Our problem is that our buses are becoming relics, and spares are almost obsolete, extremely hard to find and rather expensive. This campaign aims to raise funds specifically for either a good secondhand bus or – from my lips to God’s ears – a new one.

Donations towards this can be specified with your name(company)/bus so that we can ensure your gift goes for the bus, you receive your tax certificate and that it is not used for the overheads of our cause which has risen dramatically since the pandemic.
Your participation in this campaign would be invaluable to Resthaven Ministries, our HIV+ children and the seniors. We hope to hear from you once everything is in place.
I am in the process of procuring a prize, like a mid-week break, flat-screen TV or smartphone, and every R100 donation would be equivalent to one entry and if you can assist with a prize, we would be most grateful.
We shall also provide you with a Section 18A Tax Certificate to the value of the prize, as well as mention your company name on each email and all our social media pages. But I shall keep you all up to date on this once my prayers have been answered as to what the prize may be.
