“We would really appreciate any form of support from our local businesses. We can achieve our goals if business people and government support our o rganisation. We have not received any funding from the Department of Social Development since inception, regardless our application.”

Their objectives include:

• Support and feeding scheme for the community

• Aftercare services to learners

• Food parcels and soup kitchen

• Promote and raise awareness of drug-free programmes, such as food gardening and sale of gardening products

• Capacity-building, drug control, environment, gender, HIV/Aids, human rights, governance, peace-building, parenting skills and anger management

• To reduce the health and social costs by educating the community about vegetation.
