ALERT: City Power announces planned internet service interruption
The City Power plans to upgrade its SharePoint environment system on Friday, April 23, which means access to the internet service will be affected.

According to a statement issued by the City Power on Thursday, the system upgrade will be carried out from 8pm until 10am on Saturday the following day.

The City has asked residents to make sure they have sufficient electricity units already loaded before the upgrade to the system takes place
“The upgrade is necessary to optimize SharePoint from the 2013 version to the 2016 version in line with City Power’s upgrade strategy. The version will be upgraded to the 2019 version in due course.”
The Internet upgrade will affect Fault Logging, Vendor Portal Invoice upload and Tender or Customer related information.
