Curro Oakdene is an independent primary school that provides high-quality education for learners from 2 years to Grade 3, with Grades 4 and 5 opening in 2022.

Our small class sizes and enhanced curriculum empower learners with the knowledge to grow into self-confident individuals and to reach their personal and educational goals.  

What do we offer?

At Curro Oakdene, we balance academic excellence with sports and cultural well-being. Our nursery school offers a safe, nurturing environment where dedicated teachers and assistants engage children in weekly themed programmes.

These programmes are designed with the Early Learning and Development Areas (ELDAs) in mind and aim to encourage holistic development. Our enhanced curriculum provides learners with 21st-century skills, while our classrooms and facilities are fitted with state-of-the-art tools.  

We offer Robotics and a variety of activities!

Our dedicated teachers give learners personal attention in the classroom, which helps to ensure that they achieve to the best of their abilities.

Our learners further benefit from specialised subjects such as Robotics and having Afrikaans and isiZulu as additional language options in the foundation phase.

We believe that participation in activities plays an important role in promoting health, team awareness, discipline and self-confidence in addition to physical and social well-being.

Specialised activities such as yoga and dance further help learners gain physical dexterity and mental control.
