Join the Alberton Lions Club on September 24 for its Walk For A Purpose this Heritage Day.
The club is collecting toiletries to make support packs for new underprivileged mothers and babies.
Donations needed range from wet wipes, bum creams, Vaseline, baby soap, baby shampoo, baby lotion, baby oil, deodorant, body cream for mom, baby Vicks, toothpaste, toothbrush, tissues and sanitary pads.
The walk will start at 09:00 at Japie Greyling Street in Alberante.
Supporters can bring toiletry either for the mother or the baby.
If you can’t join the walk, you can still show your support by making a financial donation.
All donations will go to the moms and babies at the South Rand Hospital.
