Honouring the life of Gail Arthur, a strong woman of the South
Gail Arthur and her sister Lorraine Martin started Smiley Kids Naturena 21 years ago.
Gail, who was a teacher, has touched the lives of many families as she has loved, nurtured and educated learners at Smiley Kids Naturena and Birch Academy for the past 21 years. She has contributed to the solid early school foundation of many learners.
Gail has also worked diligently in the community of Meredale and Naturena. She has tirelessly helped and contributed to the Meredale Community Forum by establishing it, recruiting members into the forum, working with the coordinators and also sitting on the executive committee.
Gail had a passion for helping the needy and underprivileged people in the surrounding areas. She also provided struggling families in the area with food parcels.
Her legacy and life work will continue to live on.
