Little ones shine at Alberton Eisteddfod

Learners of Kinder College excelled during a recently held Alberton Eisteddfod.

A proud Kinder College principal, Sulene Bester, thanked and congratulated her learners after excelling at the Alberton Eisteddfod held recently.

The pre-school’s youngest group to enter was the three- to four-year-olds in prescribed poetry.

They achieved a whopping 11 gold and 10 silver diplomas, with their Grade R choral verse receiving 91%.

In girls’ Grade 000, Tshegofatso Mamabolo got 85%, Mahle Mdoda 92% and Gugu Ngema 86%.

While in boys’ Grade 000, Lethu Buthelezi and Haven van den Heever achieving 92%.

For boys’ Grade 00, Xavier Steyn got 93%, Puso Setshogo 85%, Oagile Chabedi 95%, Lucas Steele 85%, Dayn Pater 90% and Logan Steele 85%.

For girls’ Grade 00, Taya Pater attained 88%, Nina Nkabinde 85%, Tinaye Hlanga 87%, Loyiso Nama 85%, Lana Muriva 85% and Amber MacKenzie 88%.

For the Grade R girls’ group, Dintle Mamabolo attained 90%, Kyla Chauraya 90% and Mikayla Naidoo 94%.

Grade R boys Lukhanyo Mthembu achieved 90% and Melusi Radebe 94%.

Those who achieved 91% for Grade R choral verse comprised Paige Hassen, Kendall Furcey, Zinathi Dolamo, Kyla Chauraya, Dintle Mamabolo and Melusi Radebe.

The group also consisted of Ethan Eckhout, Luvuyo Vilakazi, Kuhlekonke Mkhwanazi and Grant van Zelderen.
