Traffic lights vandalised and not working since reported last year

JRA has been notified and no response from them.

As of date (January 10) from an email sent to Joburg Road Agency (JRA) on July 8 last year, the traffic lights at the three intersections of Kliprivier Drive at the N12 Southern bypass were never fixed.

They are still knocked over and cables were stolen. There are two main sets of lights off the highway and onto the highway that have been affected.

I received service request number 4019953 on July 8, 2021, and nothing has been done to fix this issue. There are constant traffic jams in peak hours and accidents at these intersections.

I would greatly appreciate it if someone at JRA could look into this as it is troubling that it is taking over six months to fix this issue. Fabio de Monte
