Union Rugby Club is starting its season on January 11 at the Klipriviersberg Recreation Centre in Peggy Vera Road, Kibler Park.

Jason du Toit, the club manager for Union Rugby Club said, “A lengthy season lays ahead for the club along with an early start to the league. Union RFC will be playing their first senior grand challenge league game on March 5 leaving not much preparation time for the club.

“This league will end in June and then will see the Memorial shield games kick off in July. The good news is that there will be two trophies up for grabs this year and the club is looking forward to the season ahead.”
