GALLERY: Locals enjoy Amcare’s musical night

Amcare invited the community to its musical fund-raiser hosted on March 12 at Alberton Methodist Church.

The evening, packed with music and a fun-filled programme, was hosted as part of its fund-raising efforts. Funds raised from the event will sustain the entity and fund its programmes to help those in need.

During the occasion, Dr Vernon Henry van Wyk narrated Elvis Presley’s life story by playing some of his famous songs.

Those who attended were also spoiled with mouth-watering treats.

Van Wyk said he has always been a follower of Elvis’ music.

Followers of Elvis can be part of the Blue Suede Heaven Elvis Appreciation Group, which meets monthly in Alberton.
