Locals receive entertainment at Thaba Trails

In aid of local charities, community members enjoyed a whole day’s entertainment at Thaba Trails during the Thaba Eco-Challenge.

Community members came in their numbers in support of a charity drive, while being entertained on March 27 at Thaba Trails.

SOJO (South of Joburg Business and Tourism) supported local charities by hosting a charity drive on the day for four local charities:

This SOJO Business and Tourism charity event was in aid of Dignity Dreams NPO, Stepping Stone Hospice, Outreach Care and Rotary Johannesburg South 101.

Group 1 Nissan the Glen and Big Bite Performance had an unbelievable car display with classic and power cars, and the limited Edition seven-seater Nissan Terra that has just arrived in the country.

The kids had a ball with loads of activities in the Allegiance Properties Kids Play Zone with prizes sponsored by 21 Jump Street – Mall of the South. The crowds were entertained in the beer tent by Simply for Entertainment who had them up dancing.

Nicky Vakaloudis CEO of SOJO Business and Tourism, said: “The Thaba Eco Challenge is a family and community focused charity event based at Thaba Trails that aims to become an annual highlight in the South.  This is a SOJO Business and Tourism initiative to bring large scale events to the South of Joburg.”
