Enjoying a good day out

We took a drive out to Ormonde and discovered a lovely spacious shopping centre.

I had a foot massage for R60, done by an expert at their spa, with tables and chairs.

We sat down and enjoyed a delicious chilly cheese sandwich, cheesecake and tea.

At the ‘sell it all’ hardware my friend bought an extension plug and two screwdrivers for a mere R20.

At their market (which provides free stalls to the community) we enjoyed homemade Malaien koeksisters and tea.
From the ‘knitting needles’ stand a pair of legwarmers, which you cannot get in the shops any longer.

Furthermore, they have ample free parking with helpful and polite security guards.

No escalators or lifts, it is all on Mother Earth, surrounded by trees and plants. Definitely no concrete jungle. This outing was good for body, mind, soul and our wallets.
