SAPS teach learners about drug abuse

The SAPS and their partners raided nine classes.

Under the leadership of Captian Antoinette Foord, the SAPS Brackendowns Vispol Division conducted a search at Bracken High School with the EMPD, the CPF, Fox Security, CPS Security and Afriforum.

According to Warrant Officer Gerhard Cornelius, the aim was to address the evil of substance abuse among the youth.

Children are searched for illegal substances.

In the first phase, they raided nine classes, and in the second phase, they informed learners about the effects of substance abuse on society, especially the youth.

They searched 315 learners and Vispol commander Captain Foord thanked all the partners for their dedication to fighting crime together.

Officers conducted a search at Bracken High School on March 1.
