Nomfundo uses Miss Turffontein platform to help underprivileged

This year’s Miss Turffontein will be crowned on December 9.

Our reigning Queen of Miss Turffontein, Nomfundo Dhludhlu, recently donated clothes to a nearby Turffontein squatter camp as one of her initiatives, before handing over the Crown on December 9.

This is what she had to say: “This platform has provided me with a unique opportunity to make a positive impact in the community of Turffontein. Witnessing the struggle of underprivileged individuals, understanding the value of a helping hand, and recognising the power I hold to effect change. I am driven to contribute and uplift those who are less fortunate.

“I believe that the beauty I represent isn’t just external, but it’s also reflected in my generous heart and commitment to improving lives of others through act of kind and generosity.”
