Test your adrenaline at the Acribranch Thaba.

It was thrill after thrill and moments filled with excitement for families and friends who attended the treetop adventures at Acrobranch Thaba during its grand opening weekend on April 11 and 12.

Acrobranch Thaba is on the premises of Balwin Thaba Eco Village in Mulbarton. It is perfect for adventure seekers, nature and outdoor lovers, families and friends getting together, birthdays, team events or school outings.

Rulé Bodenstein, marketing manager, said Acrobranch Thaba is open to both residents and the public. “This park marks an exciting milestone for Acrobranch as our 13th location in South Africa and our very first hybrid park, combining our signature treetop adventures with innovative engineering-style pole obstacles.

“The result is a dynamic and engaging outdoor experience designed for both children (from age 3) and adults, whether they are first-time adventurers or thrill-seekers looking for a new challenge. Visitors can expect a fun, safe and active environment that builds confidence, encourages movement and inspires a true sense of adventure. Our courses are two hours in duration and packed with high ropes, tricky crossings and awesome zip lines,” she said.

Over the years, Acrobranch has grown into a nationwide network of adventure parks, offering a variety of obstacle courses tailored to different age groups and fitness levels. From young children tackling their first treetop challenges to teens and adults navigating more advanced courses with zip lines and elevated obstacles, there is something for everyone.

“Safety remains a top priority at all Acrobranch parks. Trained instructors guide participants through a thorough safety briefing before they begin and provide continuous support and encouragement throughout the experience.

“Beyond the adventure itself, the aim is to create memorable moments where individuals can step out of their comfort zones and enjoy the outdoors together,” noted Bodenstein.
