Alert about a fake JRA jobs advertisement

Durban Talent is not affiliated with Johannesburg Roads Agency.

The Johannesburg Roads Agency (JRA) warns the public about a fake JRA job advertisement from a company called Durban Talent that has been circulating on social media.

JRA is not affiliated to Durban Talent and its administrators and has not authorised the jobs advertised in their advertisement and it also does not endorse Durban Talent and its services.

Vacant positions at JRA are advertised by JRA itself on the Job vacancies are advertised on the JRA website, through mainstream newspapers, and on the City of Johannesburg’s website at www.joburg.org.za, not via recruitment agencies.

Any job advertisement outside these channels is not issued by JRA and should be disregarded.

JRA advises all job seekers to be vigilant and not pay attention to false job advertisements, no matter how promising they seem. If you are not sure about the validity of a JRA vacant position advertisement, call the JRA Human Resources Department on 011 298 5000 and inquire about the positions in question.

It should also be noted that JRA does not charge people when they apply for advertised jobs.
