Mondeor pool hall murder case set for a second pretrial
Magistrate orders new pretrial conference after prosecution withdraws
A 19-year-old is facing a murder charge after allegedly fatally stabbing another teenager (18) at Ballbreakers, a pool hall in Mondeor on April 5, 2025.
The accused appeared in the Booysens Magistrate’s Court on January 20.

The case was set to go to trial, but the prosecution withdrew.
The case was handed over to Magistrate Vele.
Vele then requested that the pretrial conference be held again, as he wanted it conducted with the prosecutor involved.
Vele postponed the case to January 28 for the pretrial conference.
