Waterstone College ladies celebrate victory

The Waterstone College girls’ first football team won the Penryn College Football Tournament on July 21.

The school celebrated the milestone achievement and congratulated the team on their outstanding performance.
The team members received winners’ medals at their school assembly.

Deirdre Martin, the head of sports at Waterstone College, congratulated the ladies.

“The team has made us proud, especially as a lady. I feel inspired by them. Well done to all of them and their coaches,” said Martin.
