Emily’s soup kitchen appeals for donations to feed Townsview community members
The Townsview-based soup kitchen is calling on the community to donate food, blankets, clothing, and other essential items to help sustain its weekly feeding programme.
Emily’s Soup Kitchen is calling on the community to donate goods to help feed vulnerable residents in the Townsview area.
The soup kitchen currently serves meals on Sunday mornings at the old Townsview Bowling Club, located opposite Townsview Primary School.
The soup kitchen is in need of any unwanted goods, clothing, blankets, and non-perishable foods to support their weekly feeding initiative and donation drive.
The kitchen operates once a week and relies entirely on donations from residents and businesses.

With winter approaching, blankets and warm clothing are urgently needed, along with food supplies.
Donations can be dropped off, or an arrangement for collection can be made by contacting Amanda on 072 889 8107 or Emily on 083 418 9570.
Community members who wish to volunteer or contribute are encouraged to reach out to the coordinators.
