Ligstad golf day

Calling all golfers and their families to come and join us for a round of golf and loads of fun.

WITH Sundays being a day for spending time with the family, the RECORD invites all golfers and their families to come and join us for a round of golf and loads of fun.

The day is in aid of Ligstad, a community project under the auspices of the NG Church Alberton West, to uplift the community through the community.

So golfers, book your four ball for Sunday, March 26, at Reading Country Club, and bring your family and friends to join in the fun. While golfers are out on the course, their families can relax listening to live music, browse through the stalls and get a bite to eat. There will even be mini-golf for the little ones, along with loads more activities.

Tee off is from 11:00 to 13:00, allowing golfers and their families time to attend church before coming to the event.

Enter your four ball at R1 600 per four ball. Game format is a Betterball Stableford (best two balls to count).

Prize-giving is scheduled for around 15:00.

An appeal is also made to businesses to support this event by sponsoring a hole. There are 11 holes available at R1 000 per hole and three prime spots at R5 000 each.
