ALBERTON Child Welfare will hold their annual Golf Day on August 24 at Glenvista Country Club.
Alberton Child Welfare has been serving the Greater Alberton area since 1940, helping vulnerable children and families. The community’s support would be greatly appreciated.
They require donations in the form of players entering four balls and encourage companies to sponsor tees and prizes. In addition to the day’s golfing, the competitors will also have the opportunity to enter a raffle with some spectacular prizes and enjoy a halfway house lunch and prize giving dinner.
In addition, organisers are holding an auction offering the chance to bid for some great items.
The competition format is four-ball alliance, two scores to count and the cost of entry is R3 000 on a four-ball. The shotgun start to the day’s golf is at 11:30 prompt. Limited golf carts are available for an additional fee of R260 per cart. The cost of sponsoring a tee is R2 000.
Anyone wishing to join just for the prize giving and auction is very welcome for the price of R200.00.
Alberton Child Welfare kindly requests donations in the form of four balls, tees, prizes and sponsorships.
Anyone wishing to enter a team or requiring more information should email the event organiser Lizanne Booysen-Nel on acw.functions@gmail.com.
