The Epic Foundation makes an urgent request

Financial donations received come with a specific request that they should only be used for projects.

The Epic Foundation has had their office at the Supreme Industrial Park in Steeledale for the past three years.

We pay full lease for the premises and, unfortunately, the rental space is not sponsored. Financial donations received come with a specific request that they should only be used for projects. It has become very difficult for us to keep up payments for the premises. At this point, there is only funding for the next two months.

Due to the size of the projects, we are using approximately 300 square meters. This is used for Comfort Pack Project, cupboards for stock and tables for packing Step-up Project, and a training room where we provide training for shelter ladies.

We have just received computers from Barclays to revamp our training room. This will enable us to bring in more ladies at a time.

The Fairy Godmother Project uses approximately 1 500 dresses and 3 000 suits and we also have a small front office from where we manage our admin.

We would like to request that someone, or an organisation which would be prepared to help sponsor the monthly rental amount to come forward. This is approximately R16 000 per month, including utilities.

Or maybe someone, or an organisation, can offer us 300 square meters of space from which we can work.

If there is anyone who is able to offer assistance, please contact Alta McMaster on 082 940 6230, or email to info@epicfoundation.org.za
