Easter fun at The Lighthouse

"We try to be creative and encourage them to get involved in the best way they can,” said Lucilia Jacinto, who runs The Lighthouse.

YOUNG adults at The Lighthouse Disability Centre, Linmeyer, enjoyed an early Easter celebration with an Easter egg hunt and fun games.

Some of the young adults, most who suffer from cerebral palsy, are quite badly affected and can’t walk at all. “We try to be creative and encourage them to get involved in the best way they can,” said Lucilia Jacinto, who runs the centre.

If you are interested in becoming involved, or would like to assist as a volunteer from time to time, please phone on 072 342 9161. The Lighthouse Disability Centre is situated in Risi Street, Linmeyer.
