How to communicate effectively
Being heard is a common human need, yet we are often misunderstood

POOR communication is often the underlying cause of disharmony, whether it is in your personal life or at work. Being heard is a common human need, yet we often struggle with this, which can lead to assumptions and huge misunderstandings.
If this is something you can identify with, then pay close attention. A Communication, Counselling and Life Skills Course, presented by holistic trainer, Marisa Wollheim, is set to take place at the Stepping Stone Hospice and Care Services’ training centre in New Market Park, starting in April 2016.
The course will run for 12 weeks, four hours per week, starting on Tuesday, 5 April. There will be an option for a morning (09:00 to 13:00) or evening (18:00 to 21:30) class, depending on demand.
Topics to be covered will include self awareness, listening, reflecting, confrontation, problem solving, and attitude and choice.
The cost is R1 500 per person and payment options are available. Kindly contact Jane Garcia at Stepping Stone Hospice for further information and/or bookings on 087 997 0222 or at info@steppingstonehospice.co.za.
