CHRISTMAS is definitely in the air with shops displaying decorations and many of us speaking about shopping lists and wish lists.

If you’re looking for very special and of course unique Christmas gifts for those close to you, then don’t miss the Ligstad Christmas Market on Saturday, November 26 from 09:00 to 14:00 at Ligstad, corner of Van Riebeeck Avenue and Gerrit Maritz Street, Alberton North.

Come early and enjoy a breakfast burger, before you start your early morning shopping. Want to pop in a little later? Well you won’t be disappointed, because there’ll be tea garden where you can relax – with the usual pancakes, rib-burgers, curry and rice to keep you going.

Browse the stalls with hand crafted items plus home baked biscuits, rusks and fruit cakes, as well as a variety of jams.

Bring your family and friends; the little ones can take part in the children’s activities while you do your shopping.

All funds raised will go towards Ligstad – a community project started by the NG Church, Alberton West for the less fortunate in the community.
