Bring and braai for cancer patient

You are invited to come bring and braai to help support a cancer patient

SADLY another special lady, Jolene James from Alberton, has been diagnosed with cancer and due o her health challenges she is no longer able to earn an income.

However, life goes on and medical and personal bills need to be paid. With the help of many, including Jolene’s amazing mother and family she remains the strong focused person she is.

You are invited to come and help support her on November 19 at Rietvlei Lifestyle Centre from 11am – 5pm , www.rietvleilifestylecentre.co.za/web/picnic.asp, for a bring and braai to help raise funds for her during this difficult period in her life.

Entrance fee payable at the gate to Rietvlei R30 per adult R20 per child R10 pensioners

Donation for the fundraiser:  R100 per adult to pay on arrival at the Goose lapa

Remember the encouragement of others soothes the soul and warms the heart, two very important components at this time.

There are lots of planned prizes, some being: a raffle (R20 a ticket), spot prizes, a fun auction of a tray made to remember, live music and craft and food stalls, gives you the chance to win 1 of 10 prizes, Spot Prizes, simple but fun prizes, A fun auction of SA Memorabilia, Live Music by Mark Reineke.

 What to bring:

  • Shade cover, (gazebos, umbrellas etc)
  • Games to keep you busy (balls, rackets etc)
  • Chairs, crockery, cutlery, tables
  • Braai tongs, braai’s, charcoal, firewood
  • Your food (meat, rolls, salads, snacks whatever suits)
  • Your drinks, glasses, openers, ice etc (again whatever you require)

Large Braai drums are available for hire from Rietvlei @.R50 per drum with grid

Charcoal and fire wood available for purchase at the shops on the premises. Those not wanting to Braai, support the food stalls!
