Thirty-minute meals: linguine with asparagus and pine nuts

This recipe is full of flavour and quick and easy to make.

It is the perfect mid-week meal to satisfy even the fussiest of taste buds.

You will need:
* One packet linguine.
* A quarter cup olive oil.
* A quarter cup pine nuts.
* Four cloves garlic, sliced.
* One kilogram asparagus, trimmed and cut into pieces.
* Salt and black pepper.
* One cup shaved Parmesan cheese.

What to do:
Cook the pasta according to the package directions; drain the pasta and return it to the pot.
Meanwhile, heat the oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the pine nuts and garlic and cook, stirring frequently, until golden, one to two minutes. Add the asparagus and cook, tossing occasionally, until just tender, two to three minutes.
Add the asparagus mixture to the pasta along with one teaspoon salt and quarter teaspoon pepper and toss to combine. Sprinkle with the Parmesan before serving.
