Win Nu Metro Movie Tickets: Power Rangers

Power Rangers in the Xtreme

ONE of the most popular and ground-breaking series from the 1990’s has been transformed with great effect for the big screen. Saban’s Power Rangers hits the Xtreme cinema at Nu Metro the Glen from Friday, March 24.

This action-packed 3D feature film is tailor-made to be enjoyed on a massive screen with bigger-than-life, 360 degree-sound.

Based on the unendingly popular legend of the ‘Mighty Morphin Power Rangers’ comes the rollicking action-packed modern chronicle which tells the tale of how the famed colour-coded crew of teen warriors first transformed from a band of small-town outcasts into a team of mighty superheroes. This phenomenon of 20th century pop culture was one of the first multi-ethnic superhero shows and also one of the first to feature girls as superheroes.

Saban’s Power Rangers tells the tale of how five ordinary teens must become something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove – and the world – is on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threat. Chosen by destiny, the heroes quickly discover that they’re the only ones who can save the planet. But, to do so, they’ll have to overcome their real-life issues and, before it’s too late, band together as the Power Rangers.

This modern chronicle of the famed franchise promises to be a must-see for fans young and old! It is filled with eye-popping special effects, great humour, out-of-this-world adventure and edge-of-your-seat action. It’s Morphin Time!
