Nineties vs Noughties – When two decades collide!

Now showing at the Barnyard Theatre, Gold Reef City

SINCE opening its doors to the public in June, The Barnyard Theatre Gold Reef City has been a firm favourite among entertainment seekers both young and old.

Providing the perfect outing for friends, families or social corporate outings, complete with scrumptious food, drinks and, of course, world-class entertainment, it’s easy to see why this fun-packed offering has enjoyed tremendous support. Hot on the heels of the sold-out production ‘Blame it on the Boogie’, the Barnyard Theatre at Gold Reef City presents a new live production of Nineties vs Noughties.

Live on stage until Sunday, October 8, Nineties vs Noughties is a music roller coaster of hit songs featuring a talented ten piece cast who revive pop and rock icons from both decades.

The nineties was an era of compact disc players, the Sony Walkman and vinyl records, whilst the 2000s saw the rise of the internet Media Player, iTunes and YouTube. The nineties saw the emergence of U2, Robbie Williams, Celine Dion, UB40, Ricky Martin and Roxette, whilst the noughties saw the emergence of Coldplay, Katy Perry, Shakira, The Black Eyed Peas, Kings of Leon and Pink to name a few.

This show is an exhilarating ride through two decades of non-stop hits. Whether you’re a fan of the 1990’s or 2000’s you are bound to be rocked, dance till you drop, sing out loud and be proud of the decade you love most!
