ON February 17, the James Hall Museum of Transport, Pioneers Park, Rosettenville Road, La Rochelle, will stage a Valentine’s Open Day to give visitors an opportunity to learn more about the long and diverse history of land transport in South Africa.
This is a family fun day for visitors of all ages and activities include rides on vintage vehicles, a food stall, and a children’s playground. Visitors are also welcome to bring their own picnic baskets.
Admission to the museum is free of charge and there is no charge for the rides. A voluntary donation towards the upkeep and maintenance of the vehicles in the museum will be greatly appreciated.
